Similar
in layout to circuit racing single-seaters (and often in the past based on
chassis built for Formula Ford racing, although most cars are now produced
by specialist Autograss constructors) the smallest Specials class provides
close and fast racing with the majority of cars powered by high-revving
and widely available motorbike engines, although car engines such as 1400
Vauxhall Nova units are beginning to offer an alternative to the bike
engines which have dominated in recent years. |
