Stock Hatch Steering Committee
The Stock Hatch Steering Committee (SHSC) has been formed and
it is recommended that a chairman is voted in by the members.
The main objective of the SHSC is to provide clarification, add, delete or amend
the Stock Hatch rules as deemed necessary by the SHSC to keep the class a low
cost, relatively simple, restricted and closely competitive class. Suggestions
for the same should be encouraged from all Stock Hatch drivers.
All questions, queries, complaints, suspicions and suggestions specific to the
Stock Hatch class should be made to ANY member of the SHSC, not necessarily that
of their own club.
The SHSC members MUST at all time keep confidential the identity of any person
who wishes to remain anonymous whilst imparting any information which may assist
the SHSC members in their duties.
The SHSC should work closely with club, league and NASA scrutineers to ensure
that every club is applying the same standards. It is envisaged that within the
Stock Hatch community, each club will eventually have at least one person
responsible for scrutineering checks specific to the Stock Hatch class including
engine & gearbox sealing.
It will be the responsibility of the SHSC to oversee any disciplinary action
against Stock Hatch drivers found to be deliberately cheating; this may be over
and above any club or league disciplinary action.
